Katy Lynn spent 20 years teaching grownups how to talk little kids (and sometimes other grownups) into saving the environment. As a Volunteer Coordinator and Trail Programs Supervisor, Katy actually got paid to spend her days in zoos, nature centers, and aquariums teaching people who wanted to make change.

Now, author and artist is as much a part of her identity as environmental warrior, mother, partner, and friend. Katy strives in her creative endeavors and relationships, for honesty, vulnerability, and bravery. Authenticity and a thirst for adventure drive both her professional and personal endeavors. Creativity within these perimeters, strengthens these connections and drives her work deeper, resulting in more fulfilling and consequential work.

Katy has been published for her short stories and art work, and is currently editing a completed full length women’s fiction, young adult novel about hope, bravery, and finding strength via found family and acceptance where you least expect it.
